Butt Paste!

Hi everyone! I am going to be reviewing Boudreaux's Butt Paste.

First off, let me tell you, the first time I heard of butt paste i was making my baby registry and I saw it on the shelves and laughed. Honestly though, that's a name that will always stick in your head.

My son doesn't get diaper rash much but when he does... it is BAD. Butt Paste has been the best for us when it comes to getting rid of the rash quickly. It says use every diaper change, but i think that is a little much. This stuff works like a charm though. I would say when i noticed my sons rash in the morning it was gone the next day. That's pretty good!

The only negative thing i would say is that this stuff is very thick and not the easiest to spread. Especially if your little one's rash is really painful because it takes a minute to spread. But, it does the job and they should be pain free by the next day (depending on the severity of the rash.). You can tell I like mine because the bottles almost gone!

Have you ever used Butt Paste? If so how have your experiences been? Let me know in the comments! Also, follow me on Facebook and Twitter for updates on upcoming posts!

Veggie Tales 3-In-1

Hi everyone. So if you have been following my social media accounts you would know that today I am reviewing a children's shampoo! This is actually the Veggie Tales 3-in-1 shampoo, conditioner and body wash.

Veggie Tales is loved in my household. I saw this at the store and thought my kids would get a kick out of seeing characters they loved on their bath products (I call this the "character trap"). This is the strawberry scent too which i thought would be yummy smelling!

So, I unfortunately do not recommend this to anyone. I have always been a little skeptical of 2-in-1 and 3-in-1 bath products just because i think its a little odd that something can be a shampoo, a conditioner and  a body wash.  I will tell you that the strawberry scent is awful. I have used strawberry scented body wash before but this smells just plain bad.

The shampoo and conditioner part of it made my kids hair smell bad and not feel silky and smooth like other brands.

Sometimes, just because its got a character your kids like, doesn't mean its worth the extra few bucks!

Have you ever fallen into the "character trap"? If so what was your experience? Let me know in the comments and stay tuned for more reviews!

Our "Magic" Hairbrush

Hi everyone!
So today I am doing my first review! That's so exciting! This review falls into the kids and mommy  category. It is called the Goody Straight Talk hairbrush.  I would say this falls into both categories because not only is it great for adults but it is really gentle and great for kids hair as well.
This is the "Magic" brush as Violet calls it.

Let me give you some background info as to why I chose this brush. My daughter, Violet, has hair that tangles and gets rats nests so fast. My old hair brush brought fear into her eyes each time she saw it. There would be kicking, screaming and major tantrums when it came to brushing her hair. I honestly felt so bad because i knew she disliked it so much.

I went to Walmart just a few weeks ago on a search for an affordable hairbrush that wouldn't strike fear into my daughters eyes. The first thing I saw was the Wet Brush. Which is meant to easily detangle wet hair. I was skeptical. My eyes kept scanning and i found Goody Straight Talk Porcupine Oval Cushion Hair Brush . I thought it looked unique with smaller bristles within the regular ones.

This brush has been a game changer in my household. My daughter calls it the "magic" brush because it doesn't pull at her hair and hurt her head. I personally don't like brushing my hair (i do of course, i just suck it up) because its so thick and tangles easily. This brush went right through the tangles and it didn't pull on my hair like other brushes! My daughter now asks for me to brush her hair. i never thought that would happen!

There is one con that I have found with this brush and it's that the brush does great at brushing through the top layer of your hair but when it comes to getting underneath (which is where most of my tangles are) you have to brush a lot. But it's totally worth it!

I highly recommend this brush, especially if you want a pain free, tear free brush time with your kids!

Reviews For All Moms

Hi! Welcome to my first blog post. I am so excited to start this journey with you all.

My name is Alyssa. I am a stay at home mom (SAHM) to two beautiful children. My daughter, Violet, is 3 and my son, Elijah, is 2. You could say my life is a little bit...hectic at the moment.  I am constantly reading reviews on products for my kids before I buy something and I typically like to leave reviews on products after I buy them. I know there are other blogs that have reviews on all kinds of things and what I am going to focus on is baby, toddler, kids and mommy stuff!

I am ALWAYS going to give you my 100% honest reviews because one thing that drives me nuts is people who only give products amazing reviews in hopes of getting something out of it. I am doing this for fun. This is something I enjoy doing and I wanted to share with all of the other mommies out there.
